Fresh vegetables, greens, fruits, and berries should be in the diet daily. But this group of products is the riskiest to buy because most producers abuse "chemistry" to grow large, attractive fruits. But organics are different: they do not look for easy ways.
And that's why healthy, completely natural fruits and vegetables are grown. And at the same time, their products also look very appetizing! The best group of fresh products is from these producers!
1 place Danube Agrarian
The trademark belongs to the "Danube Agrarian" farm (Odesa region), founded in 2013, and has the Organic Standard certificate. According to the organic standard, it is among the top three producers of eggs and is the largest producer of organic watermelons and melons. The farm only grows organic peaches and nectarines. Actively develops organic livestock and poultry farming: sheep, chickens, and ducks are raised.
The assortment includes more than 160 products. The company constantly produces interesting novelties: for example, fruit chips made of sublimated watermelon, melons, and plums, organic peach jam with lavender flowers, sage, and mint; cleaned, cut into pieces pumpkin in vacuum packaging. They grow sweet potatoes.
In 2021, the assortment of TM was replenished with a new line: medicinal herbs, and in 2022 they began to produce essential oils from them. The collection, processing, and storage of all products meet organic production requirements and are confirmed by certification.
TM "Danube Agrarian" products are widely represented in national trade networks: Goodwine, WineTime, Silpo, Novus, Auchan, Velyka Kyshenya, MegaMarket, etc.; regional trade networks, in specialized health food stores, and even in stores at gas station chains.
Also, the products are exported to many countries: Switzerland, Germany, Romania, Poland, the USA, and Canada.
2 place BigBlue
Officially registered trademark of the "Yahidky" SPC (Kyiv region). This is one of the largest farms in the world where organic blueberries are grown - a 44-hectare berry orchard has an Organic Standard certificate.
The organic farm was established in 2016. They started selling blueberries in 2018. Five varieties of berries are grown on the farm. Harvesting in the cooperative lasts from the end of June to the middle of September. In 2021, the farm set a record: they collected 140 tons of berries and grew the most giant organic berry, 3.5 cm in diameter.
They focus mainly on the domestic market. Although Ukrainians still consume little blueberries, the demand is growing quite quickly. Before the war - by 70% every year. In the spring, the farm survived the occupation.
TM is represented in national trade networks (Silpo, METRO, MegaMarket, WineTime, NOVUS), and a significant part of the products are exported.
3 place Organic Terra
TM belongs to "Organic Greenhouses" PE. Products: greenhouse vegetables, primarily cucumbers, and cherry tomatoes. The company was the first in the organic sector to establish a stable supply of fresh products in the supermarket chain. The first organic cucumbers start at the beginning of February, and tomatoes at the end of March when natural vitamins are very scarce.
Careful care and modern technologies make it possible to grow clean vegetables. For example, cherries contain only 2.15 mg/kg of nitrates at the maximum permissible rate of 150. Even babies from 9 months can eat them. Plants are watered in greenhouses with rain and melt water. Organic Standard controls all processes.
The products are presented in organic boutiques, Auchan, and Silpo chains. Orders are also delivered throughout Ukraine.
4 place OSIO
Organic vegetables and herbs of TM "OSIO" are grown under the management of LLC "Organic Expert" (Kyiv region) according to technologies by organic standards of the EU under the control of Organic Standard.
Farmer Yuliya Voroshchuk popularizes organic products with her witty posts and streams on social networks - clearly demonstrating who and how grows food for your family. Special attention to rhubarb - the farm owner sets herself the goal of instilling a love for this culture in Ukrainians. Sweet corn, squash, zucchini, asparagus beans, cucumbers, potatoes, pumpkins, and greens are also grown. You can order products on social networks and the website.
5th place Agro Staritsya
Agricultural products from the Kyiv region are sold under the trademark. Back in 2012, they started growing organic berries. Later, as there was a demand, vegetables were also produced. The product is certified Organic Standard according to EU organic standards.
The manufacturer's assortment includes fresh and frozen vegetables, herbs, and fruits: raspberries, garden strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, honeysuckle, gooseberries, black currants, red currants, apples, cherries, cherries, sea buckthorn, chokeberry, asparagus, onions, leeks, eggplants, zucchini, zucchini, pumpkin, radish, tomato, fennel, cauliflower, kohlrabi.
The primary customer of the "Agro Staritsya" farm is the chain of GoodWine stores.

Rating formation methodology
The ranking of organic brands was formed in several stages.
Initially, a long list of 50 brands that positioned themselves as organic was compiled. Next, the availability of relevant certificates for the declared products was checked. At this stage, more than half of the applicants were screened out. It turned out that many companies falsely call themselves "organic producers" or have relevant certificates only for certain products but at the same time label all their products as "organic."
There are 30 companies left that work honestly and mark with the word "organic" only those products for which they have the appropriate certificate. Then they were ranked according to three criteria:
Volumes of production and sales - based on the study of the domestic market of organic food products in Ukraine in 2021. The sales volumes of organic production operators under the control of the certification body LLC "Organic Standard" were considered. The share of books of organic products of Ukrainian production for the domestic market of Ukraine certified by the Organic Standard is more than 95%, so this review is representative.
The estimated data presented in the study include the number of organic products sold by operators in the market of Ukraine in 2021.
It also evaluated what results the company has in the current year, 2022. After all, many people ended up in occupation, and production processes and supply chains were interrupted. Not everyone could survive such a "perfect storm," but it became apparent how trustworthy and viable the company was. However, almost all of them not only survived but were able to quickly reorient themselves, change their marketing policy and even expand their assortment.
Representation of brands in trade networks: evaluated by marketing experts based on information provided by trade networks, organic and farm products stores, and manufacturing companies.
Media and PR activity of brands: evaluated based on monitoring results. The number and quality of TM mentioned in the mass media, the number of publications, advertising, and marketing manifestations were considered; representation in social networks: an analysis of the quality of content and activity of company pages, audience reach, and engagement was carried out.
