The best of the best: "organic" baby food!
The product for which buyers make the highest demands is baby food. Agree, even for yourself. You will not choose products as carefully as your baby. The best vegetables and fruits, the strictest standards, and the most modern equipment are all about baby food. Organic producers follow the same approach. After all, "organic" products, by definition, meet the highest requirements. At the same time, the production of baby food has many additional provisions. This is a rather complex product to manufacture. A few brave people are ready to undertake this and establish production processes in accordance with the basic national requirements and the requirements for organic products. In Ukraine, fortunately, such was found.
Experts claim that the segment of baby food in the Ukrainian market is developing dynamically. Ukrainian consumers choose domestic products among similar products. They have been adhering to the principle of "one's way, one's way" since birth!
So, Ukrainian brands produce organic baby food.
TM belongs to "Vitmark-Ukraine" LLC, and the products themselves are produced at the Odesa Baby Food Plant facilities. Many generations of Ukrainians have grown up on the "fluffs" of this manufacturer. It is all the more pleasant that the tradition continues. Only, of course, now the factory has the most modern equipment, and the raw materials and the entire production process are certified according to the highest organic production standards.
Since the summer of 2021, Organic Standard has certified the production line of organic puree for compliance with the requirements of the standard of international accredited certification bodies for organic production (MAOS), equivalent to the European Union Regulations.
The company's specialists have developed the recipe "Organic apple-banana puree" and "Organic apple and blackcurrant puree."
Chudo-Chado Organic is the first local organic puree based on self-processed Ukrainian apples. Fruits are grown far from highways, large cities, and industrial zones. Only ripe fruits and berries grown according to the principles of organic agriculture are used.
In the range of baby food for children from 6 months: organic apple-banana puree, homogenized sterilized organic apple, and blackcurrant puree.
Products are sold in many national retail chains.

The organic line has been certified by the Organic Standard since 2021. The first batches of organic products were produced and sold in brutal 2022. As we can see, even the war did not prevent organic producers from working selflessly and conscientiously.
Each type of cereal, flour, vitamin mixture, and packaging is certified and intended for baby food production and meets the requirements for producing organic products. Certificates of conformity guarantee the quality of children's cereals. Product samples undergo radiological, chemical-toxicological, and microbiological control by accredited laboratories.
International quality management systems adopted in the European Union have also been implemented and certified at the enterprise.
They produce organic baby food for children aged 6, 7, and 12 months. The assortment includes organic multi-grain bowls, instant dairy-free cereals, dry cereal breakfasts, and cereal bread. Porridge is made without milk.
The product is presented in many pharmacy chains on online platforms (Rozetka, biby.com.ua, etc).
The rating of Ukrainian organic brands/manufacturers in 2022 is organized by the Organic Initiative and Organic Standard in partnership with BrandStory with the support of Switzerland within the framework of the Swiss-Ukrainian program "Development of trade with higher added value in the organic and dairy sectors of Ukraine" (QFTP), implemented by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture ( FiBL, Switzerland) in partnership with SAFOSO AG (Switzerland). Rating formation methodology
The ranking of organic brands was formed in several stages.
Initially, a long list of 50 brands that positioned themselves as organic was compiled. Next, the availability of relevant certificates for the declared products was checked. At this stage, more than half of the applicants were screened out. It turned out that many companies falsely call themselves "organic producers" or have relevant certificates only for certain products but at the same time label all their products as "organic."
There are 30 companies left that work honestly and mark with the word "organic" only those products for which they have the appropriate certificate. Then they were ranked according to three criteria:
Volumes of production and sales - based on the study of the domestic market of organic food products in Ukraine in 2021. The sales volumes of organic production operators under the control of the certification body LLC "Organic Standard" were considered. The share of books of organic products of Ukrainian production for the domestic market of Ukraine certified by the Organic Standard is more than 95%, so this review is representative.
The estimated data presented in the study include the number of organic products sold by operators in the market of Ukraine in 2021.
It also evaluated what results the company has in the current year, 2022. After all, many people ended up in occupation, and production processes and supply chains were interrupted. Not everyone could survive such a "perfect storm," but it became apparent how trustworthy and viable the company was. However, almost all of them not only survived but were able to quickly reorient themselves, change their marketing policy and even expand their assortment.
Representation of brands in trade networks: evaluated by marketing experts based on information provided by trade networks, organic and farm products stores, and manufacturing companies.
Media and PR activity of brands: evaluated based on monitoring results. The number and quality of TM mentioned in the mass media, the number of publications, advertising, and marketing manifestations were considered; representation in social networks: an analysis of the quality of content and activity of company pages, audience reach, and engagement was carried out.
