Grandiosity is an interference to success!

Grandiosity is an interference to success!

Everything turned out to be quite simple and consistent.

I, just like all other people (oh, I hated to admit this one, I’m so special!), was very prone to grandiosity. Moreover, to an especially bloated one, of a global scale if not universal. I didn't want to live a simple little life, it was too boring and pointless. Give me the evolution of all mankind and a breakthrough into other galaxies! No, I personally did not need a monument, thank God, but it was simply necessary for me to participate in something truly great. Now, I also want to, of course, but it’s not that necessary anymore.

It all starts in the mother's womb. In it, we are subjectively the center of the universe, since there is nothing else but us. Everything works automatically, we don't need to worry about anything, just exist for yourself, that’s it. Then life gives a crack and we have to get out of the cozy tightness, but then a boob comes to the rescue and a whole mother in addition to it, who, as it seems, exists exclusively for our needs. And this scheme is very strongly imprinted in us forever. It is this lost paradise that and the lack of such attention and care we yearn for.

But the grandiosity itself remains, especially since the parents often support it, emphasizing how wonderful, special and unique their child is. Without any connection with reality. And now it has also become common in the educational institutions to say that everyone wins, so that no one is offended. This came instead of the previous comparison - egalitarianism and at the same time cruel quilting of students to champion titles. Now the grandiosity belongs to everyone!

We reach out to it from the inside of our souls, trying to be like that, and we also look for such people on the outside. But having found them we either get scared, or take offense and envy. And those who want to be grandiose, but actually are not, we laugh out loud. Because it is very vivid. To make plans that will never come true, to promise and not to do, “all or nothing,” “and I don’t agree for anything less,” - that's all about it.
We feel the need to be better, stronger, cleaner, smarter, more perfect. And our vigilant, but at the same time greedy for energy mind prefers to just take and imagine a tremendous success. It is from here, not only from the banal instinct of self-preservation, that our dream and illusion of own immortality grow. All superheroes are born of a grandiose mind. After all, imagining is so much easier than doing! The brain doesn't care - reality, fantasy, illusion ...
Back in the old days the religion helped a lot, but now very few people are 100% sure of it, and many have nothing to do with it at all. We try to believe in ourselves - again, without actually being based on anything. We do not like our smallness, it is too insignificant and unreliable, so it is better to join something larger in order to let this larger fill us with its grandeur.
But if you have enough experience, knowledge and spirit to look reality in the eyes, then after a period of disappointment, fear, resentment and powerlessness, you will gain real, adequate self-esteem, integrity and vision of your path. And since this is already quite real, it will prove to be not only reliable, but also very inspiring. Try it, if you are already bored with everything else.
