Market Conquerors 2024: Top 5 Ukrainian Exporters of Organic Value Added Products
Ukraine continues to strengthen its positions on the global organic market, remaining one of the key exporting countries in Europe. This reflects the high quality of Ukrainian products and the growing demand for them.
Ukrainian organic producers are actively working to improve their technologies and meet high organic quality standards. Thanks to the support of the government and international partners, the organic export from Ukraine occupies an important niche.
The European Union and Switzerland remain the main export destinations. Ukrainian organic producers and processors do not only meet the demand on the local market, but also successfully compete on the international stage.
“In the first 10 months of 2024, Organic Standard’s clients have already exported 115,420 tonnes of organic products, which exceeds the total exports of 97,220 tonnes in 2023. Such dynamics indicate an increase in demand for organic products from Ukraine and a significant credit of trust in them,” says Sergiy Galashevskyy, General Manager of the Organic Standard certification body, Ukraine.
The steady growth of organic exports contributes to the development of the Ukrainian agricultural sector, creating new jobs and supporting local communities.
In cooperation with Organic Standard, BrandStory is presenting a ranking of Ukrainian exporters of organic value added products by sales for the second time.
