The idea of innovation parks emerged in the 2010s. The IT sector was gaining momentum, but many professionals were emigrating abroad. We realized that there was a lack of an environment where all needs would be met, and where the atmosphere itself would motivate for new creative solutions.
Our goal crystallized from the desire not to create just another real estate project, but an ecosystem. Everything was set up to live in harmony, work efficiently, learn, and relax. Everything needed for comfortable day-to-day living was within walking distance, from cafes and gyms to offices and daycare centers.
At that time, there were concepts like "industrial park," "business park," and "science park" around the world. Our concept envisioned a maximum focus on a creative cluster. So, with our team, we came up with the name "innovation park."
UNIT.City was the first innovation park in Ukraine, and LvivTech.City is located in Lviv. Currently, these projects thrive and continue regardless of any circumstances. For instance, in the past month, we have been restoring LTC after a rocket attack on Lviv.
Innovation parks are places for creating effective communities, fostering an entrepreneurial spirit, and promoting innovation. They provide professionals with an environment that makes them want to develop creative industries at home, in Ukraine.
