Success in any area of life often depends on your ability to make the right decisions.
And what is this - the right decision?
It is a common mistake to think that this is a decision that will give you a desired result or benefit now or in the future.
Well, it seems that this approach is correct, but... The problem is that it is necessary not only to decide, but also to implement this decision in life. So, I want to give you another interpretation:
"the right decision is a decision that you were able to make."
How do you like it? Unusual, I know that. But…
I want to tell you a legend.
There was one manager who was famous for always making the right decisions and doing this very quickly. And no one knew his secret. And when he was about to retire, he invited his successor to the office and said:
"You know, they say about me that I always make the right decisions quickly, and no one knows the secret. And the secret is very simple..."
He reached into his pocket and took out a handful of beans:
"Every time I have to make a decision, I put my hand in my pocket, take as many beans as I can and ask the person questions. But… I'm not interested in the answers, I just need time to count how many beans are in my handful. If it is an even number - I say "yes", if it is not even - I say "no". Because throughout my long life I realized that there are no right or wrong decisions. We don't lose when we make decisions, we lose when we don't.
Therefore, my secret to making the right decisions is very simple:
MAKE A DECISION AND MAKE IT TRUE.”
So how can daily time management help you train your ability to make the right decisions?
The main thing that this "trainer" will help you with is to make your decision right. Daily time management according to the Goals-Management Technology system consists of several components:
- a list of tasks for the day in all important areas of life
- time calculation
- actual schedule to complete tasks
Mastering each of them trains your ability to make decisions and then implement them.
But this is a very safe simulator, because if you made a mistake today, you can analyze, draw conclusions and correct it tomorrow.
I confidently declare that with careful work you will be able to correct your failures very quickly, at my online reality training we give a person 3 days to do this - and everyone can do it.
What is important:
1. Make a list of tasks for the day - every morning.
2. Review the completion of these tasks every evening.
3. Draw conclusions: why something is done - it should be repeated, why something is not done - it should be avoided.
What is dangerous:
1. If you are trying to get success the first time. No one says it's impossible, but it's not guaranteed either.
2. If you give up after a few tries and decide that you are a disorganized person or that time management is not for you.
Time management can and should be mastered by anyone seeking success.
3. If you do not draw conclusions from defeats, but continue to do the same, hoping for a miracle. Albert Einstein wrote: "It is stupidity to do the same thing and expect a different result.”
What to pay attention to:
Your list of tasks for the day should definitely include tasks related to body, personality, family, work/business and society.
The time calculation of tasks for the day in the morning should be about 20 hours a day, if it is more - you are in danger of not having time to do it, if less - you are wasting, losing your life time.
When creating a schedule, be sure to set time intervals between tasks to avoid the state of "squirrel in a wheel".
And then just do and learn to do what you have planned for the day. After a while it will come out easier and become more interesting. And now - train!
