How Credit Agricole has supported customers and society since the war began in Ukraine

Under war in Ukraine, Credit Agricole employees work every day and provide daily banking for customers, in March the bank provided UAH 10.77 million to help war victims, and the Group expressed solidarity with Ukrainians and suspended its activities in Russia.

How Credit Agricole supports society since the war began:
EUR 10 m (UAH 321.3 m according to the exchange rate by NBU for today) - emergency solidarity fund that the Group launched. These funds will be used to help Ukrainians, where priority will be providing help to children, as well as employees of Credit Agricole in Ukraine. The fund is equally funded by Credit Agricole SA and its structures, as well as the FNCA.

UAH 100 m taxes the bank paid in advance.

UAH 5.5 m the bank donated to help hospitals. These funds will be used to purchase medicines, food and other necessary humanitarian aid in Kyiv and other regions of the country. The initiative has been implemented with the support of the “Your Support” charity foundation.

UAH 5 m the bank donated to the Red Cross in Ukraine to provide vital support to Ukrainians.

PLN 600 K (about UAH 4.1 m) Credit Agricole in Poland provided to help Ukrainian hospitals. UAH 270 K Credit Agricole donated to humanitarian initiative by our partner the Lviv IT Cluster. Funds are aimed to support the centers for temporarily displaced people in Lviv and the region.

Important update in the mobile application CA+ was done. There are now templates for supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, charity fund "Come back alive" and Red Cross in Ukraine. UAH 20 m has already been raised.

The bank donated 20 units of computer equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine within the “Equipment pro bono” project. It will be used to ensure the proper functioning of the financial and economic services of the Armed Forces.

Canceled the fee for money transfers toward cards issued by other banks in the CA+ mobile application. UAH 0 commission for all C2C transfers regardless of the recipient's card.

Since February 24, Credit Agricole has introduced special terms of banking services, which will be valid during 2 months:

Credit Agricole cards that expired since February 2022 have been automatically renewed so that they can be used further. Credit Agricole in Poland introduced free of charge opening and maintaining a bank account for citizens of Ukraine. Also free money transfers to Ukraine. There is also a simplified procedure of opening accounts. Credit Agricole card payments are available in retail outlets and the Internet without any restrictions.

Internet banking and mobile banking CA+ operate 24/7.

Employer support is extremely important in difficult times

Credit Agricole paid salaries for April and March beforehand. The bank's team works remotely if possible in order to minimize movement through cities. Most branches of the bank work in safe regions to provide banking services for customers. Employees of branch network receive salary bonuses. Credit Agricole also helps with the evacuation of employees and their families. Peace in Ukraine is a common goal that has further united Credit Agricole, our Team and the bank's customers.
