If the goal is simply money, most of us may not be sufficiently inspired by it.
Despair is creative, of course, but it will create something simple and already existing. Because haste, nerves, and fear are negative motivations. And even if everything is fine, and you just want to earn more, then this is a positive motivation, but rather weak. Such a need will not reach your heart. And this is a direct path into the Red Ocean.
The Red Ocean has this color from the blood that is shed in there by the rival sharks. Hussle and bustle, fighting with elbows, horns and fangs are the classics of survival in any fertile and well-plowed soil. There is already a demand, everything is clear, and therefore you have a crowd of people who can supply. Moreover, the higher the demand, the tougher the battle. For example, you will not even approach minerals, precious metals, energy resources - these territories are surrounded by three rows of barbed wire with machine guns in the corners.
In the Blue Ocean, swimming is free, pleasant, inspired, and calm, but there is nothing to eat because there is no one there. Therefore, only those who really came up with something new stay there. And really new stuff is usually incomprehensible to people, it’s uninteresting and unnecessary for them. They might need it objectively, they just don’t know about it yet.
Thus, it will take a long time to explain, tell, show and convince. And firstly, you will need to shout loud enough through the well-paid noise of the Red Ocean and win the audience's attention. This is hard and thankless work, which also may not lead to anything if there is simply not enough advertising budget.
However, nothing can be done if you get fired up with your idea. Otherwise, life is simply not sweet. You don't want anything, nothing makes sense, if your idea does not grow, does not develop, and does not go anywhere. Like a real child. Everything else seems like an empty fuss for the money that will be spent on maintaining this same empty fuss. Not inspiring.
Therefore, if the idea is really working, but there is not enough money for advertising, you will have to spend more time. During which it would be good to gradually move forward, not to get exhausted, not to lose faith, not to take offense - in general, not to drown. But how?
First of all, don't listen to the hucksters. Those are the businessmen who are not interested in anything at all except sales. It doesn't matter to them what to sell, whom to sell, and why. They just want to sell more and skim the cream off. Such people will spit and grind your idea, at best advising you to adapt it to what is already in demand.
Secondly, do not listen to your friends and relatives - in general, close people. They do not believe in you because "there are no prophets in their own country." They are also uncomfortable with the new, from which they defend themselves. And they sincerely want to help you: to protect you from failure, difficulties, and disappointments.
Third, don't listen to the "experts". They don't really care what your idea is or whether there will be any sales. They get paid for advice, effort, and preparation. Not for results. So they will just pump the money out of you for as long as possible.
Do not call your idea, service, or product with words such as "goods" or "product." This commercial depersonalization offends your inner artist, devalues the soul of the project, knocks out the primary foundation from under your feet. Stay inspired!
And, of course, don't expect quick results. Don't lie to yourself. Pushing something new into the world - whatever it may be - is not just difficult, it takes a long time. People need to first learn about it, then understand it, and get used to it. Only then will they be able to want it.
So, stock up on patience, time, and money from another source. If the idea is working and you believe in it, if you burn with enthusiasm and love, if you put enough effort, then it will work. The main thing here is perseverance and intrinsic motivation. Hold on and try your best, may you succeed!
