The full-scale war has brought immense challenges to Ukraine's economy, particularly to the agricultural sector. However, in these difficult circumstances, some courageous Ukrainian producers chose the path of organic production and achieved success.

As noted by OrganicInfo.ua, despite all the difficulties caused by the full-scale invasion, organic operators managed to increase exports to the EU and Switzerland by 13% in 2022.

Ukrainian organic brands have demonstrated their effectiveness and competitiveness in the international market. Their success stories are examples of other farms and enterprises considering transitioning to organic production.

 "In recent years, the volume of exports of value-added products to the EU has been increasing, including fresh berries and processed packaged products, particularly in the snack category. This indicates that Ukraine has significant potential in this direction and will only continue to expand its volumes," notes Serhiy Halashevsky, Director of the certification body "Organic Standard"
